Hope Cohn

Curator

Hope Cohn is an Independent Curator and art consultant in Atlanta.  She is responsible for many exhibitions including Nelson Mandela: Man of the People, photographs by Dr. Peter Magubane, Katrina: Five Years of Reflection, Breaking New Ground: Intersections at the Crossroads of Technology with GA Tech School of Architecture and most recently, SCORE: sports + art at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia.

Cohn has fostered the careers of several emerging artists and her visionary, award winning exhibitions have received high acclaim and recognition.

Originally from New York City, Cohn received her Masters Degree from Pratt Institute and was studio director of the internationally known artist Frank Stella. She is devoted to arts education and has been a professor and guest lecturer at the School of Visual Arts in New York, SCAD-Atlanta, Harvard University Graduate School of Design and the High Museum of Art. 

Her upcoming exhibition will feature works from the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia and will be on view throughout the Atlanta Airport main terminal from August 2016 through 2017.
